Southbound again

I’m excited about some upcoming leave from work over the next couple of weeks which will allow for a trip down to my hometown, Normanville. I’ll be camping for a few days and spending most of my time on foot making field recordings and observations at various locations.  The recordings and observations are to be incorporated into a commissioned work for 2012.  Being my usual meticulous self I’ve already made a (crude) work plan for recording and observations.

I’m planning to get down there early next week, but being mid-winter it depends on how well behaved the weather is going to be. I don’t mind a bit of rain but if it buckets down and whips up a gale off the sea it could all amount to misery.
