Fleurieu Sound Map: Commencing March 2012

The Fleurieu Soundmap will be an ongoing field recording project conducted by myself with the objective of documenting unique sonic sites across the Fleurieu Peninsula.   Over the last couple of years I’ve been making recordings around my hometown (Normanville) and  its surrounding districts – documenting sites of geographic, phenomenological, aesthetic or historical interest.  I’m now pleased to announce that a webpage is on the way that will document this ongoing project, which I hope in the coming months and years will sonically encapsulate this unique region of South Australia.

Once the webpage launches in mid-March you will be able to listen to field recordings via a clickable Google Map, along with detailed notes and images of each sonic site.
